NOT IN CHURCH CHRISTIANS

Amazing Fact: They like Jesus but not the church by Dan Kimball. The book that started the world thinking about why so many people call themselves Christian, used to go to church but are not in church in the 21st century. Perhaps you are one of the thousands in this position. Go to our Used To Attend Church Section.

Recently we are receiving reports of people starting to think about God and Jesus in a way they have never previously considered. This have been brought about as people are facing an uncertain financial future due to the massive losses of the banks and financial institutions. Perhaps you have been affected and this may be a time to reconsider your relationship with Jesus. You may have felt self sufficient for a number of years and now face uncertainty. There may be family and friends who need support and you feel unable to offer any. Do get in touch if we can help but please do not ask for money. Please note email is only checked about once a week so please do not use this for anything where time is important.

This site is for anyone who believes in Freedom.

Starting from the premise that the greatest freedom comes through Jesus Christ we will look at a number of issues on this website.
There are thousands of people who no longer attend church for lots of different reasons. This is the generation known as the "not in church" generation. Many have been converted through the large evangelistic missions of the last 40 years. Others by the witnessing of a local church or through a university christian union. Notinchurch.com considers some of the reasons people are giving up church but continuing to love Jesus.
If you have a question about returning to church after a gap of a few years please see the FAQs section on the menu.
If you would like to share your experience of being out of church and how easy or difficult you find it to go back to church please let us know. Perhaps you can help us promote this website by giving us a mention on your website or blog. If you do please send us an email.

we are not all the same and everyone has something different to offer. God welcomes EVERYONE - remember he created us all.

On these pages we will attempt to deal with these issues openly and honestly. Sometimes Christians would prefer that we do not acknowledge that people sometimes stuggle as Christians but that is how St. Paul describes his own life in the many Epistles he wote in the New Testament part of the Holy Bible.

Please note that occasionally we will use a traditional expression so that we do not offend anyone. An example is above when we use the term "Holy Bible" instead of just writing the "Bible". So please do not read anything into our use of such phrases.
